Romy Pitoors
Say hello to Romy Pitoors, the Belgian dive master who could out-swim a shark and out-lift Jeppe at the gym (which she probably will). Back for another season of underwater adventures, Romy is here to guide dives, spot cuttlefish getting frisky, and keep Jeppe in check—because someone has to. With fins on her feet and fire in her soul, she’s ready to take on the ocean…and maybe throw Jeppe in it if he gets too cocky.

Jeppe Vandingenen
Meet Jeppe Vandignenen, the Belgian heartthrob with a passion for all things underwater - especially when the cuttlefish start putting on their romantic light show. This trilingual bad boy is back for his second season, ready to witness the ocean’s wildest dating scene up close. Whether he’s charming divers in three languages or swooning over cephalopod courtship, Jeppe is here to make waves (and probably steal your snorkel).

Manny Katz
Introducing Manny Katz, the new captain of the Why Dive ship! Armed with a passion for the ocean and a tolerance for diver shenanigans, Manny is here to make sure everyone gets in the water, sees the famous cuttlefish, and—most importantly—makes it back to shore. Whether he’s running the shop, cracking jokes, or wondering how he ended up responsible for this wild bunch, Manny is the guy keeping the adventure afloat.

Jacob Widmann
Originally from the UK, Jacob has spent the past three years living in Southeast Asia, drawn by his love for the ocean. He started diving ten years ago and became a professional in 2022, turning a long-time passion into a career.
Jacob is a strong advocate for marine conservation, contributing to citizen science and marine research where possible. Outside of work, Jacob spends as much time in the water as he can, freediving and surfing whenever conditions allow. On dry land, Jacob enjoys playing tennis, hiking and travelling to new places. -
Gina Cincotta
Gina is from a small town in New England and discovered diving three years ago in Indonesia. Since then, she's been hooked—especially on sharks, nudibranchs, and stonefish. She loves diving with a sense of curiosity, always looking for the little details in the underwater world. When Gina is not underwater, she is usually out adventuring and staying active, or reading and working on her travel blog.
Before diving, Gina worked as a flight attendant and a realtor, which sparked her love for adventure and exploring new places. She is also super passionate about helping stray dogs, whether it is feeding them, caring for them, or volunteering at the local shelters. Combining her love for travel, the ocean, and animals is what really drives Gina in life.
